In the Civitatis of Tafa, there is an Administrator as well as a High Council. The Administrator will appoint the High Council, and has the power to appoint positions. The Council will make the laws and vote to approve or disapprove or make changes.

The various castes of Tafa can make up their own GLs but those will not over ride Tafa Law. The Council will not interfere with the castes.

Leadership:

A council appointed by the Administrator will be known as the High Council, whose duty it will be to handle the everyday business of running the city. The HC will act as the governing body through their votes. The Administrator sits on the Vosk League of Cities and will be the emissary when initiating political contact.

City and Assembly Welfare:

All members shall put the welfare of the city and HC before all others save those of their own House.

Problems:

All problems and disputes are to be reported to the council by way of logging it and sending the log to the HC and Administrator, along with a description of what happened. All problems with slaves should only be referred to their owner, as it is their problem, not the city's.

Judgment:

Capital Offenses:

It is the responsibility of the HC to see to the judicial needs of the Civitatis of Tafa. They make decisions of guilt and innocence, and suggest a course of action. It is the Administrator who makes the final decision as to what is the ordered final course of action.

Minor Offenses:

These lesser cases will be handled by a duly appointed magistrate. The Magistrate's decision will be sent to the Administrator . Writs of enslavement and other lesser forms of paperwork may be obtained from the Magistrate.

High Council Meetings:

The HC will hold regular meetings, (Mondays.) Members may not invite others to watch the proceedings. Those with cases to present to the council will also be present, but NONE other than recognized speakers shall speak after the hearing has been called to order. NO slaves are permitted in any High Council meeting.
